The Technical Cadet Course is aimed at young men who have finished their intermediate or equivalent education and aspire to establish a career in the technical sector of the Pakistan Army. This training program is tailored to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills.

The TCC is a comprehensive four-year program, comprising of two years of theoretical studies at the Military College of Engineering (MCE) located in Risalpur, followed by two years of hands-on training in the relevant Army Corps or Services, to provide a well-rounded training experience.
In order to qualify for the TCC, the candidate must satisfy the following requirements:
The eligibility criteria for admission to the program are as follows:
The candidate should be a Pakistani male aged between 17 to 21 years as of 1st September of the admission year.
The candidate must be unmarried.
The candidate should have completed F.Sc (Pre-Engineering) or equivalent with at least 65% marks or F.Sc (Pre-Medical) with additional Mathematics with at least 70% marks.
The candidate should meet the minimum physical standards, i.e., a height of at least 5′ 4” (162.5 cm) and a weight as per the Body Mass Index (BMI).
Individuals who have been rejected twice by the Inter-Services Selection Board (ISSB) for any category of commission in the Armed Forces, deemed permanently unfit by the Armed Forces Hospital or Appeal Medical Board, or terminated from any Government Service are considered ineligible.
